We had an absolutely amazing time and we have our crew, Westley and Leandri to thank for that. Starting with our first communication through email and a call they were warm/kind, welcoming and informative. Providing us with helpful information and answering all of our questions while easing some of our concerns. Initially boarding the Boatox we were met with a welcome drink, introductions and a review of safety info and rules of the boat. As boaters we appreciated that. We understand(on a smaller scale) what it takes to run a boat smoothly. Leandri and Westley worked as a skilled team and made the entire process look and feel seamless. Both were knowledgeable, decisive, responsive, flexible and able to anticipate timing, weather and challenges(all of that with calm demeanors!!) which as guests/passengers made our voyage relaxing and enjoyable. We requested a mixed itinerary of must see/do touristy places as well as seeing those “hidden gems” and they did not disappoint. The trip was full of our favorite activities snorkeling, paddle boarding, swimming, floatin’ in crystal blue waters, exploring ashore, dancing, visiting restaurants and bars and marveling over landscapes and sunsets that pictures do no justice. Leandri prepared and presented fresh mouth-watering meals and drinks that left us insisting to know every recipe. They kept the boat, equipment and linens tidy and clean at all times. They maintained their professional roles/responsibilities the entire time yet by the end of the trip they felt like friends we had known forever. Our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude goes out to Leandri and Westley for making this truly a vacation of a lifetime! Finally I want to thank you for your suggestions, recommendations and guidance through the process of planning this vacation. Ron and I truly appreciate it!
My wife and I recently chartered a 7-day catamaran trip to the British Virgin Islands. The voyage on the 54-foot Soulmates far exceeded our expectations----it was frankly the best vacation we have ever taken! Just about everything was perfect: the scenery, the weather, the food & drinks, the stop-over destinations, and the sailing itself. We have never eaten such exquisite cuisine for seven straight days. Chef Iona was absolutely amazing! Every meal was a culinary delight…from filet mignon, halibut, tuna, shrimp, charcuterie boards….to a bunch of fancy meals that I cannot even pronounce. Iona was constantly in the kitchen whipping up dazzling homemade, fresh, and beautifully presented plates for our group of six passengers. Every yummy meal felt like the most delicious one we had ever tasted. Her crewmate, Captain Stella, was also an incredible host to us. Not only was Stella a skilled and professional expert with the boat, she and Iona were fantastic partners who treated their passengers like royalty. They worked as a well-oiled team to make everything appear smooth and seamless. While Iona prepared the meals, Stella often made superb specialty drinks for the guests. What made this trip so special was their endearing personalities. They accommodated all our special requests, ensured we had everything we needed at all times, and made every special moment feel unique. They truly became part of our group and we even cajoled them into playing music trivia games with us in the evenings. They were kind, sweet, and caring; we absolutely fell in love with them. My wife even cried when we got off the boat at the end of the week because she knew she would miss them. I cannot say enough about how incredibly amazing this trip was…..we are definitely planning to do it again a few more times!
Just finished a 1 week trip on Moonshadow with captain Lené, chef Christina, and first mate H. Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations - the sites of the BVIs were beautiful but what really made the trip so spectacular was the crew. We celebrated two 60th birthdays and a 30th birthday on our charter. Chef Christina is incredibly talented - some of the best meals we’ve ever eaten!!! Entire charter was gluten free due to dietary restrictions. And it was all phenomenal. The crew was fun to be around and had a nice dynamic altogether. We hope to be lucky enough to return!!! Cannot recommend enough!!!
We chartered a 7-day catamaran vacation with 12 family members in early April. Too large of a group, so we split up between 2 boats. Because of the unusual logistics, both crews set up a planning Zoom call the week prior. This was very helpful! Upon arrival, they had arranged ground transportation (for 12!) to the marina. Aboard, Captain Harry and Chef Cole on the Bavarian Bliss were fantastic! We were hoping for a relaxing week, enjoying the water, sun and sights of the BVIs. The crew & boat delivered! We were able to sail together with our 'other' boat (Soul Mates) to each overnight anchorage. Captain Harry was very experienced and provided numerous water toys/floatables (Harry, hope you were able to repair the Unicorn) at each stop. He was familiar with the various islands and points of interest. Chef Cole was incredibly efficient in his menus, food preparation, and especially presentation. Both Harry and Cole displayed exceptional drink making skills! At different times during the week, we 'jumped' boats for dinner, letting the old folks be together. On the final night, we rafted up with Soul Mates (thank you Sofia & Marisa!) which was the best part of the trip! And we even taught Captain Harry how to say "Alabama" the right way...
We cannot say enough about our incredible catamaran charter through Virgin Island Vacations. From the start, the communication from Heather was seamless and professional. Our trip—led by Captain Lieselot and Chef Casey—went far beyond our expectations. They created an itinerary that perfectly balanced our desire for both activity and relaxation. Every meal was exquisite. Each of us, from ages 18 to 80, loved every minute of this fantastic week!
Our group of 8 (mom/dad, 22 & 20 year old daughters and 2 friends & 16 year old son and a friend) had a perfect week on Walkn on Sunshine. We island hopped and enjoyed incredible meals prepared by Marielle. She is amazing - every meal was delicious and her energy is great to be around. We enjoyed a few marina stays (Oil Nut Bay, Spanish Town and Scrub) and moored a few nights (definitely recommend reserving via Boaty Ball as the first come first serve balls go quickly). We hit all our favorite BVI spots and had great family time. Can’t say enough great things about Walkn on Sunshine and Marielle - can’t wait to go back!
What an AMAZING time we had on Suite Life this past week!! All 8 of us are still on a high as to what an experience it was. The Captain, Chef and the First Mate were incredible people and great at their jobs. The customer service and attentiveness to all of us was exceptional. Captain Roy was so professional and personable! We felt like we were in great hands and very well taken care of at all times. The boat was in great shape and our master suite was stunning. We had some special requests for the week and they accommodated everything we asked for - ordered us a special case of wine, 2 themed dinners, hitting golf balls (biodegradable) off the deck, and they also planned a little special birthday night for me. Honestly they were great and it was one of the best weeks of our lives!
