Captain Richard Vincent
Richard is a friendly, experienced, and dedicated yachting professional who has spent the past six years working as a Captain in the British Virgin Islands. During this time, he has developed an extensive knowledge of the local cruising grounds, charter operations, vessel management, and guest services. His years in the Caribbean have not only strengthened his leadership abilities but have also reinforced his commitment to safety, professionalism, and creating unforgettable experiences for every guest who steps aboard.
As a qualified Divemaster, Richard has guided countless dives throughout the British Virgin Islands and is passionate about sharing the region’s spectacular underwater world with guests. He takes great pleasure in creating memorable adventures both above and below the water.
Known for his calm and approachable nature, Richard thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable handling the challenges that come with life at sea. His attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proactive approach ensure that daily operations run smoothly and that guests feel relaxed, cared for, and confident in his leadership.
Richard is highly adaptable and his experience has taught him the importance of anticipating needs, solving problems efficiently, and always going the extra mile to ensure an exceptional charter experience. Guests and colleagues alike appreciate his genuine, down-to-earth personality and his ability to make everyone feel welcome and at ease.
When he is not on the water, Richard enjoys staying active through running and has a passion for travelling, exploring new places, and embracing new experiences, qualities that perfectly complement his adventurous spirit and career in yachting.

Chef Ryan Katona
Ryan was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and began working in hospitality at just 14 years old. By the age of 16, he had transitioned into the kitchen, where he discovered his passion for cooking.
While working as a chef, Ryan trained to become a paramedic and briefly worked in the field after qualifying. However, after two weeks on duty, he realized his true passion lay in cooking and returned to the kitchen.
He went on to win a global cooking competition, the Super Yacht Scholarship. This took him to a leading maritime academy in England and followed by further culinary training in France.
Since then, Ryan has had the privilege of cooking in numerous countries aboard a wide range of yachts, from 90-meter sailing vessels to charter catamarans. He takes pride in engaging with guests on a personal level, allowing him to tailor each dining experience and ensure every meal exceeds expectations.
Outside of work, Ryan is a ping pong champion and never travels without his paddles.
Ryan and Ellen met while working together onboard a superyacht in the Caribbean islands. Their love for traveling is what brought them together and they continue to build a strong relationship. Together, life is one big adventure.

Ellen comes from both English and Filipino backgrounds and grew up in the beautiful coastal town of Knysna, South Africa.
Growing up in a culturally diverse family, her parents instilled a strong sense of adventure and a love for travel from an early age. These experiences inspired her to explore the world and ultimately led her into the yachting industry.
She holds a BA in Visual Communications, majoring in Graphic Design, and enjoys bringing her creativity to life through flower arrangements, table styling and themed dining experiences. Ellen also has a passion for creating memorable moments for guests through attentive service, as well as her appreciation for good food and wine.
In addition, Ellen has completed her RYA Yachtmaster and is eager to join in when hoisting the sails. With previous experience as a deck/stew on superyachts, she enjoys being active outdoors, participating in water sports and discovering the beauty of the Caribbean alongside guests.

That transpired into the diving and the kids comfortably got certified under your guidance. We loved all of the boys and activities, from the paddle boards to (especially) the efoils. We cannot say enough about Katie’s cooking. We all anxiously awaited every meal and felt incredibly spoiled with each delicious bite. I am not sure what we will do without Elizabeth’s creative and yummy cocktails.

With heartfelt gratitude we would like to sincerely thank you for the amazing week we had on the Aeolus. We feel extremely fortunate to have experienced our time in USVI/BVI on this yacht and with all of you as the incredible crew. The level of service you provided to us and your level of care and concern for our family and your attention to detail with every aspect of the trip was truly exceptional. In my business we always try to train our team members to provide this level of service to build lifetime relationships and lifetime guests – it is never easy to execute on, but you all nailed it.
The last two years have been full of challenges due to living through COVID restrictions and protocols, but this trip provided the perfect and much needed respite from these challenges. It is appropriate that tomorrow is Thanksgiving because we could not be more thankful for this trip and for the crew hosting us.
Lastly, I would like you to forward this message to the owner of the Aeolus. I would like to let him know that if this was my boat I would feel very fortunate to have this crew on board. The level of care and concern they have for their guests is the same as the level of care and concern they have for your yacht – they treat it as if it’s their own in every way. Impressive.

We had an unforgettable time and it was all down to you three! You gave us SUCH an experience, but what you did for our girls was truly remarkable. I’m gonna say that my favorite moment for them was the Baths at Virgin Gorda with the pirate treasure and the folklore - but for me it was the sail to Anegada- ALL the sailing! Thank you for such a fantastic vacation. We really appreciate all that you did to make it special. From getting all the toys out and ready for us each day to finding steep runs and rocks that we could jump off of. From hanging in the dinghy in case the guys needed help kiteboarding, to teaching the kids the dice game and spike ball. From all the beautiful place settings to the cleaning/organizing fairy in our rooms each day. Literally the best experience of our lives. Cam, Jada, and Sam you three went above and beyond! "Wow! Where does one begin when asked to describe 'heaven on earth'? Pure bliss, unparalleled happiness, as close to perfection as a week can get.
Six of us had the great fortune of chartering Xandros for a full week - our "Melebration" - seven days celebrating the 50th birthday of my wife, Melody - the coolest lady on the planet (we all agreed that Jada was undoubtedly most people's obvious choice!)
We came in search of beautiful geography, hidden coves and memorable sunsets. What we got was so much more. While the locations in the BVIs are incomparable, it was Cam, Jada & Chef Sam who made this truly the trip of a lifetime.
Cap Cam - you deserve to be the star of the next Avengers team. A true to life modern day superhero. Is there nothing that you cannot do on the high seas? And a brilliant sense of humor to boot!
Ms. Jada - you are queen of hospitality, high princess of the BVIs. Your secret power seems to be the ability to read minds and anticipate the needs of everyone of your needy high maintenance guests (we like to think that we're so easy going, but I'm quite confident it's far from the truth). You do it all with true grace.
And Chef Sam - I'll put your masterful dishes up against any Michelin chef in the world (and let's see them do it solo in a galley kitchen with an induction stove!) Each dish inspiring mouthwatering awe and full of creative inspiration, unbelievable, incredible - pull out the thesaurus to describe your culinary skill & prowess.
And thanks to all for sharing your home with us. We hope that we were worthy & thankful guests.
