Captain Lars Lindstrom and Chef Jasmine “Jaz” Johnson bring an adventurous, wellness-minded, and deeply experienced energy to charter life. Lars, originally from Nashville, discovered sailing at age 9 and eventually traded an engineering career for life at sea after a year-long Caribbean sabbatical aboard his own sailboat. Since then, he has sailed extensively across the Pacific, Caribbean, and Mediterranean on both private and performance yachts, always happiest when the sails are up and the engines are off.
Jaz grew up along the East Coast with a lifelong connection to the water through diving, fishing, sailing, and island life in Key West. With a background in exercise physiology, nutrition, yoga, hospitality, and French culinary training, she brings a thoughtful blend of wellness, flavor, and warmth to the galley. Her cuisine is inspired by global travel, fresh local ingredients, and the comfort of family-style cooking.

Amazing experience all around with Kiteboarding Cruise. For me it was a last minute trip i booked hours in advance of the flight to Antigua — Tomas and the captain Lars were always in contact to assist in ensuring all was well until arrival at the boat, where then Lars took the helm. The experience on the water was perfect from start to end. Wake-up, wingfoil, eat breakfast, nap, kite, lunch, nap, sail, dinner, sunset session, drinks and dinner with new friends sleep, repeat. What world is this? Food was terrific - locally sourced ingredients cooked up by Chef Jaz like a pro. To sum it up, great wind, great boat, great people on the ground and on the vessel. Thanks!

Great experience, very professional skipper and chef, amazing kite/wing spots!
We spent two fun weeks on the catamaran around Antigua with Lars, the skipper, and Jasmine, the chef. Both committed professionals going out of their way to fulfill all our wishes at all times.
Whether sailing, kiting or wingfoiling we always felt safe and comfortable. Lars brought us to the best kite spots. We took a few kite-foil lessons and made faster progress than expected. Great drone footage of the spots and kite/winging sessions were provided as well.
In each week there also was a non-kiting/non-winging partner of a kiter on board, who also had a great time, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, visiting Stingray City, taking photos etc.
Food was very nice, varied and abundant. Jasmine was catering to all the different dietary requirements (vegetarian, pescatarian, but also meet). Thank you so much for this great holiday!

I took a 7 day kite surfing catamaran cruise around Antigua with these guys, and had an amazing time! The locations around Antigua are great for kite surfing and wing foiling due to windy days and lots of distant reefs that break the large waves and create calmer conditions inside for learning and enjoying the sport. The boat was comfortable, and the crew (Lars and Jasmine) were friendly, helpful and fun. Jasmine cooked up some delicious vegetarian and meat dishes along with the occasional sweet treats. Lars helped us on the water and provided lessons for those who needed them. During the cruise, you will also have time for other fun things, like swimming, sightseeing, snorkeling or even fishing. Bring gear for your favourite activity!
Overall, I was very satisfied with all aspects of the cruise, and can't wait to do it again sometime soon!

This is one of the most amazing Island adventures out there. Jaz made a variety of fresh meals everyday and Capt Lars was a seasoned and professional sailor; not to mention a great kite boarder and instructor. The two of them made this a bucket list check off for me. We took 6 days sailing around Antiqua stopping at various coves and Marina’s. I was able to enjoy a great outdoor Reggae concert on the top of Shirley heights over looking English Harbor. We had a stop at Stingray city and did a swim with the stingrays. Snorkeling everyday was like being in an aquarium. If I could give them more than a 5 star review, I would! I can’t wait to do it again next year.

Spent an awesome 2 weeks cruising Antigua and Barbuda with Kiteboard cruises. The weather was incredible and we were able to kitesurf morning and afternoon every day!
Our hosts Lars (captain) and Jaz were phenomenal and made the trip incredibly special with their can-do attitude and ability to adapt to all our needs, be it kiteboarding lessons, trips to restaurants, or fulfilling our culinary preferences.
Thanks to Lars we have video memories to last a lifetime, and our kiteboarding skills have improved beyond expectation. And seeing turtles and jumping stingrays whilst kiteboarding in turquoise seas makes for very special memories.

A week with Lars and Jaz was the best! They have such good energy and are clearly a wonderful team with plenty of experience. That experience came in handy as we had a couple days of nasty weather (totally out of their control) and yet the whole time I felt entirely safe and comfortable and they didn't even bat an eyelash at the tougher sailing conditions. Also the rough weather was made easier to be bear by the great vibes and super yummy food prepared by Jaz the whole trip.
On the beautiful days they navigated us to some awesome spots where we got to play with so many different toys while exploring the area. As an example, on one of the days when we were anchored at a beautiful bay, I went out on one of the paddle boards and saw some turtles about 30 minutes in. I hurried back and grabbed some of the awesome snorkling gear and was able to find the turtles again for a magical snorkling experience!
The boat was also beautiful and comfortable with enough space to have some quiet time for reading and as well as great shared spaces to bond with friends and family.
I can't recommend Lars and Jaz enough and will definitely be back!

Sailing the BVI with Captain Lars and Chef Jaz was over and beyond any of my expectations!
They were the most hospitable hosts from the moment we arrived on their beautiful, comfortable and spacious catamaran!
Captain Lars is a calm, confident and knowledgeable sailor! While fishing in the deep ocean, a storm came up with high winds and rough conditions. I felt entirely safe and at ease! It didn’t last long and was an exciting experience!
Chef Jaz creates delicious, healthy dishes at every meal!
She does her homework to make sure that the food meets her guests palate. Our group caught lots of fish which she prepared perfectly!!!
Every day brought a new fun-filled adventure in a different location…. From a reggae concert in St. John, hiking on Norman Island, exploring Anagada, seeing beautiful fish and turtles while snorkeling, the Baths, having fun with all the water toys ….
And of course the spectacular
views!!

Hard to describe the adventure. Ours tilted towards fishing. Caught and ate fish. Me caught nothing except a lot of ribbing..........................
Lars and Jasmine know their way around the Virgin Islands and took us to great places including a reggae concert!!!
Especially fun was meeting Jasmine's dad's (best friends for 50-years) friends who are now our friends.

We had the absolute joy of sailing through the BVI with Captain Lars and Jaz on our very first charter, and it was truly one of the most special experiences our family has ever had.
We are a family of six with four daughters, and from the very beginning, Lars and Jaz made us feel completely at home. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care for our family were evident in everything they did.
Captain Lars is an exceptional sailor—calm, confident, and incredibly knowledgeable. We always felt safe and relaxed, which allowed us to fully enjoy every moment. He also made sure there was never a dull moment, setting up water toys and creating so much fun for our girls throughout the trip.
Chef Jaz is nothing short of amazing. Every single meal was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious—each one felt special and something we looked forward to every day.
One moment that meant the world to us: due to a canceled flight, our 16-year-old daughter had to fly in a day early on her own. Lars and Jaz met her at the airport, took her under their wing, and cared for her until we arrived the next day. As parents, we cannot express how much that meant to us. That level of kindness and responsibility goes far beyond what you expect—it truly speaks to the kind of people they are.
We were also their very first charter on their new boat, Tortuga, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The boat is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly set up for an unforgettable trip.
This was more than just a vacation—it was a memory our family will cherish forever. Lars and Jaz are two of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met, and we feel so lucky to have shared this experience with them.

Recently, I took a much needed vacation and stayed aboard the Tortuga catamaran for a full week and had an incredible time. Captain Lars and Chef/First Mate Jaz are a very fun and talented crew who made sure we were eating well and seeing great sights and spots around the Virgin Islands. They handled getting in and out of the BVIs no problem. We snorkeled almost every day and saw sea turtles and so many beautiful fish and wildlife. The views were stunning sailing around and just relaxing. With kayaking, paddle boards, and windsurfing gear there's plenty of ways to find the adventure that's for you. Chef Jaz was on top of it cooking up a delicious storm – thank you Jaz! There was plenty of sunscreen and refreshments available, whatever you need is there. The beds were also very plush and supportive. Superb experience, can't wait to do it again!

Jaz and Lars are the best!!! We had a wonderful time and it has been one of our best vacations! They are super knowledgeable about the area and took us along for all the fun activities and spots. Jaz’s food was amazing - we had a couple of vegan friends and she managed all the diet needs with super yummy meals and dessert everyday! Everything was super organized and well taken care of on our little adventure! We’ll definitely come back!

I can't say enough about how awesome our trip was with Jaz and Lars. They were so fun to spend time with and they were on top of every detail of the trip: fun daily itineraries snorkeling and seeing all sorts of hidden corners of the islands, delicious meals from Jaz (she even accommodated vegetarians and vegans on the trip), extremely comfortable accomodations. They created a special experience for us that I will remember forever. Highly recommended!

Lars, you were truly the best captain! Thank you for showing us so many beautiful spots throughout the USVI and BVI, along with all the fun snorkeling adventures and amazing beach locations. Every day was unforgettable!
And Jaz — your cooking and crewing were totally beyond wonderful. You helped expand my palate, and the presentation of every single meal was absolutely fantastic. You both made our trip so special and brought our group together for so much fun and laughter.

My husband & I have traveled a lot but this is definitely a favorite vacation! It was incredible! Lars & Jaz were the best & had the best itinerary planned for us six. They took us to amazing snorkeling spots with crystal clear water & had all the fun toys on board (paddle board, kayak, fishing, big floating tube & a pull down movie screen where we had a movie night).
And the FOOD was incredible! Jaz served us healthy meals that were so yummy!
Tortuga Catamaran is beautiful & loved the layout.
I would highly recommend this trip to everyone & hope to go back next year.

The trip couldn’t have gone any better. Lars took us to great snorkeling locations, beautiful beaches, cool hiking trails, and we had crazy good views sailing.
At night, we were always in calm bays to sleep. Jaz cooked amazingly good food. The whole time was Relaxing and fun.
